I ended my blog posts last year with a beautiful family session that took place on a very windy day. And I’m starting off this new year with a blog post of a gorgeous mother and her 8 children that took place on that same very windy day. Down south in the little town of Bromhead. After already having to reschedule their session and not knowing what the fall weather would do as it was getting into late October, we went ahead with their session. However they all did amazing and were really fun to photograph! Unfortunately the chilly wind was coming from a direction that was a challenge to get shelter from. All the more reason to cozy up to one another and they smiled through the shivers. We kept moving and it was seriously one of the most efficient photo shoots!
Knowing of their family since shortly after we moved to the Tribune area it was lovely to finally meet!! I remember hearing when there was a 7th and 8th baby on the way. They’ll have great support all through life being part of a large family! Bromhead was requested as the location for their shoot as the building in the background was their Grandpa and Great-Grandpa’s shop at one time. A place with history for their family and a place they’ve had photos taken before. Having a meaningful location makes photos that much more special. Getting to preserve and make lasting memories like these for families is wonderful!! And whatever the prairie weather might be, we just try to keep it fun and enjoyable!
