Fish Creek Park | Vopni family

The first blog post on my new website!! A fun family lifestyle session at Fish Creek Park. We stopped on our way back through Calgary in mid-June from a houseboating trip on the Shuswap Lake for my birthday. My cousin and I had been keeping in touch for a couple years whenever we were heading to the Calgary area trying to coordinate a photo shoot. It finally happened and it was so much fun!! They had me laughing throughout our time together! Their family loves being outdoors and these adorable boys are energetic little explorers! They are curious, happy, on the go and will tackle any hill!!

We started off at the memorial forest not far from where they live. A special place that has a lot of meaning and memories for their family. A place that they visit often and spend time together at. There’s lots of beautiful nature area to explore so it’s a great place for little boys. With room to run and play! Perfect for their cute pup, Charlie, too. Then we went across to Fish Creek Park and there were hills and trails to explore around some more. It was so nice to catch up after not seeing them for a long time. I’m glad I got to capture their family at this stage and enjoy an adventure with them!! Our time together was so much fun!

If you’re interested in a photo session outside of my home area in southern Saskatchewan, please contact me as we also love to explore and we might be able to make something work when we’re in your area!
