This Okanagan winter mini session was the very last photo shoot of 2021. On the very last day of the year! As we headed west for the holidays the temperature kept dropping. It was very cold in Alberta and it was much colder than usual for the Okanagan winter climate. We still bundled up for hikes and had a blast at Big White on the tubing hill one day. I included a photo of Spion Kop that a few of us hiked to the summit of too. There was a lot of snow and it was a test of my endurance! It was a fun family time!! We just weren’t able to spend as much time outdoors as we hoped.
My cousin asked for updated family photos when she knew we were heading out that way over the holidays. They were champs to brave the elements as it wasn’t ideal weather! It was the true definition of a mini session. Short and sweet!! Although it was very chilly we headed down by the lake as we were getting together near there to ring in the new year. It’s beautiful along Okanagan Lake. We thought all the warm thoughts and they cuddled in close to one another! They did amazing!!! A few years had passed since their last family session and they’ve moved back to beautiful British Columbia. Capturing their family with the Okanagan scenery was perfect!
