Oh the many fun memories from this summer!!! At the beginning and then the end of the same week I photographed the twin Pederson brothers with their families. This extended family session was on my calendar for months in advance. A day of the summer I was really looking forward to. It was a special weekend as this couple/parents/grandparents celebrated their 40th anniversary. The beginning of where their wonderful family began and it’s lovely to capture milestones like this. Since I last photographed them all together a few more boys have been added! The grandchildren count has doubled and they are sweet, adorable and fun kids!!
Extended family sessions are busy but some of my favorite shoots to capture the many connections and family dynamic. As well there’s heaps of variety with a large group and locations like this family chose at and near their farms. I love color and their outfits were fun and well chosen for the summer scenery. The crops were pretty much at peak vibrancy. It was a hot, hot summer day. I sure like to think about the sweltering heat of those days as snow falls outside my office window today. Enjoy the summer views and very enjoyable family in places that have meaning in their lives. Most of all, happy to be together and to celebrate the wonderful love that started over 40 years ago!
When I got to take this handsome boy’s first birthday photos, we took some photos with this antique John Deere tractor.
This was the best weekend to shoot on for timing to have the canola in full bloom! Very Saskatchewan!
This cute Viva car goes back to their dating days!
Thank you so much for having me photograph your family again!! I loved my time with you all!
