Star City Wedding | Lyle + Barb

It was an honor to capture my Uncle and his new bride’s special day this summer. An extra special wedding to photograph and to see the joy they bring to one another’s lives. The day started off overcast with sprinkles of rain. The forecast had changed from a few days prior and now showed rain for the entire day. The plan was an outdoor ceremony for their Star City wedding. In a beautiful setting on the bride’s acreage. It was a “good luck on the wedding day” rain shower that cleared for an overcast afternoon. Barb walked out of the house with her two sons at her sides to the circle of trees that had an intimate atmosphere for their ceremony. With some of their children standing up for them they shared their heartfelt vows and sealed their commitment with a kiss!

We carried on with family and wedding party portraits around the acreage. Such a nice location and we were glad the weather cooperated! Along with the pets too. The “best dog” and the bride’s horses were mostly interested in trying to take a nibble on her bouquet which was quite amusing. We made a couple stops on our way to the reception at Archerwill. First off, at the tennis courts where they enjoy to go and also by the bridge at the Barrier River for a change of scenery. Their wedding party was entertaining and kept the bride + groom laughing! We all had a lot of fun. These two are a great match – on and off the tennis courts!!

Congratulations Lyle + Barb! You make a wonderful couple! Capturing special moments on a meaningful day like this is the greatest!!
