This handsome, kindhearted boy celebrated his first double digit birthday in March. Kids turning 10 years old feels like a big deal. It’s been fun being an Auntie to this cute, easygoing kid for a decade. Around their first, fifth and now tenth birthday we do a little photo session to document life at that age and what their interests are. I don’t think I know a kid that loves winter as much as Tace so it worked well that we had a snowy month of March! He humored me with his request for the letterboard sign. However when I stopped by there yesterday, the first thing he said to me was “when are we going to do my summer 10 year old photos?” I think it’s just become his thing to say – and especially to me! – because we had a really nice time together the day we took these. It will be fun to capture the summer version that I’m sure will involve a soccer ball too.
