I had a great time with the Walkeden extended family!! Just a couple miles down the road from our place live some of the best neighbours we could have ever hoped for when we moved to this area! We appreciate this couple so much and have enjoyed getting to know all their extended family too. Their family has grown a lot in the past decade with a crew of cute, sweet grandkids! I really noticed how much the kids are changing and growing up. Times goes by really quick and it’s sweet to have memories like these. Over the years I’ve photographed some of their family and this was the first time with all of them in front of my camera. They’re a really great family that are wonderful to be around! We could have stayed a couple hours longer just to visit and catch up!!
This was my last fall photoshoot around here before leaving to Mexico with my Momma. I’m so glad for everyone that fit in to my adjusted schedule. It takes a lot of effort and coordination to make a shoot like this happen. The kids sports and activities’ schedules being much different these past months really helped for everyone to have a free Saturday morning in the fall. We were very glad shooting in the morning worked best for all of us as the wind was picking up and didn’t let up for the rest of the day. Good thing for their nice sheltered yard. The pretty fall colored leaves were still on the trees but not for long after we took these photos with the Walkeden extended family! It’s special when families get to be together and I’m glad I got to be part of this happy time at their farm. We ended with a ride for the grandkids on Grandpa’s train and there were extra big smiles to hear him say, “All aboard!”.
