I’m excited to start off the blog posts for Weyburn Graduation 2023 with a kind, handsome and fun graduate! I continue to be impressed each year with the kids and love getting to capture this exciting time in their lives. Jyler looked great in his maroon suit with gold details and Black Betty was shined up extra. The title really should be Jyler and Black Betty. She kind of steals the show!! Plus saying or hearing Black Betty makes the line of that song come to mind. Whoa, Black Betty, bam-ba-lam! I hope you now sing that song as you look at this blog post! Jyler’s graduation photo shoot at Mainprize Lake was a really great time! With a family that’s a ton of fun to be around. They all have a great sense of humor! They’re such a great-looking family and I always think it’s really nice when families are included for graduation photo.
Their family has a cabin out at Mainprize Lake so it’s a place they spend lots of time throughout the summer months. Shooting by water is always a preferred location for me and catching the reflection of their family was absolutely stunning! The moody sky delivered what we hoped for with this photo shoot by the lake. We lucked out the weather cooperated! As we wrapped up and the guys were adding blackies to the pavement it started to rain. So perfect timing!! Just got in a good smoke show before the pavement would’ve been too wet! There was more of that kind of fun on another great evening at the lake that I got to photograph Jyler and Black Betty with his closest guy friends.
Congratulations Jyler on your graduation!! I think travelling is a super education so it’s fun to think of the adventures and all that will be learned farming in Australia! Safe travels mate!
