Brace yourself for a very large blog post today with LOTS of images! This was another gorgeous summer evening that was perfect for extended family photos!! A fun, enjoyable evening in the valley! If you’ve been following along here when I photographed this wonderful family before you’ll know that they have a very special place in my heart. A kindhearted, thoughtful cousin and her family. My first summer out of high school I nannied their 4 children during harvest. Then went back a couple years later for a short time to look after all 5 kids. And now their family has really grown. Especially in the past couple years with a few weddings as the brothers were all married within a year. Along with the arrival of sweet little ones that are delightful. With another baby on the way too!
This is a milestone anniversary for Papa + Granni in a couple months and part of their celebration includes updated family photos. What a wonderful way to remember a special year. We headed to the creek and valley near their place. It’s a favorite!! A beautiful spot in the area close to the farm! When the sun came out there was a stunning, golden glow. Which was fitting because it felt like an all-around golden evening in the valley!! Then the sun dipped behind the clouds and it was hard to put my camera down. Their outfits came together so well and were beautifully coordinated. Such a great-looking family in gorgeous surroundings. I adore them all so it was amazing to photograph their beautiful family again and spend time with them this summer. A visit there always goes by too quick!! I can’t wait to go back and see these photos displayed around their home. I’m so glad I got to share in this part of the 30th anniversary celebration!
