This sure all worked out perfectly when you consider the coordination of everyone’s schedule during the busyness of summer and life on the farm, summer jobs and travel plans. It was really enjoyable to photograph their family again and with an additional member this time too! With everyone around and home to attend a wedding the day before it was great timing and we had a gorgeous, sunny evening! An added bonus of travelling to their farm in Manitoba is the distance being too far to drive home after the session so I got to enjoy their top notch hospitality for another nite this summer!! Even though it was years ago that I worked and stayed there it’s easy to feel “at home” at their place and being with them. They all have a passion for the farm, working hard and working together. So of course we took photos by crops and this is their first year growing corn so it was neat to have the very tall stalks for a backdrop. The prairie and valley scenery around their home is beautiful and I loved how their outfits tied together! Sadly their old faithful dog, Abby, couldn’t get down to the creek this time but we did include her in other photos. It is always fun to visit and I am excited to share their session. Enjoy these photos and if only I could add in the laughter, teasing, silly comments and singing to give the full experience! It was a fantastic time with their amazing family!!!
