This was another graduation photo session that it was hard to put my camera away at! Kate is so lovely and sweet!! This class of 2022 graduate has a friendly, cheerful disposition and is just delightful to be around. We took a few photos at the pasture where we finished taking their family photos then headed back to the ranch. She grabbed her guitar and we headed along the trail between their place and her grandparents. She played and sang and I wish this could also include a recording of her beautiful voice!
We walked back to another area on their property. Of course trees were in the background too. It was a nice change from my usual home surroundings of open prairies to photograph with so many nice trees around while I was up north! Kate sent me a photo of her dress ahead of time and I love what she chose to wear to celebrate her graduation!! Layers of ruffles and textured fabric with lots of pretty details. It’s a beautiful dress! She smiled, laughed and made it such a fun time photographing this exciting achievement. I’m glad we started early because as I headed off it started to rain. It was sweet to get to know the wonderful graduate a bit and I feel honoured to capture these happy memories for their family!!
