We woke up this morning to fresh snow in our area. Since arriving home at the beginning of last week from southern California and Tijuana the temperatures quickly dropped. So this California sunshine-filled trip brings warmth and happy memories.
With plans to attend The Hybrid Co in San Diego at the beginning of March we decided to make more of trip of it. My husband and I flew into LAX and toured around Los Angeles to see the Hollywood sign, drove through Beverly Hills and spent an afternoon in Santa Monica. Then headed down along the coast taking in the gorgeous scenery to attend the photography conference in Mission Bay on the north end of San Diego for a few days. Afterwards we parked our rental car a short walk from the Mexican border and walked across for an overnite visit in Tijuana.
From the border we drove over to Palm Springs for a few days and were hosted by our wonderful friends. We toured around in Palm Springs and had a fun day with their family in Joshua Tree National Park. It’s such a unique, interesting place to explore! We had great tour guides!! I’d been to the park a few years before and loved it so was glad Kent got to visit there now too.
We had such a great trip and the timing worked out in our favor arriving home just days before the Covid lockdown. It’s easy to see why so many people choose to make California their home! Sunny and beautiful southern California. We look forward to our next visit!
