Over the past few months there has sadly been a lot of starting and stalling with blogging for me. Such is life with all that we’ve been through. I’m picking an easy one as this blog post of summer fun in the Okanagan has been partially together for a while now. Let’s hope it’s the kickstart I need to get into a good blogging groove again. Thank you to my wonderful clients for your patience with me as my family deals with all that we are. I really am excited to share more fall sessions!
I hope every year includes some summer fun in the Okanagan!! This was a highlight of my summer! A roadtrip out to beautiful BC with my sister and her family. Spending time with all of my sisters and their kids was really fun and we had a great week! We had lake time at a few beaches and on the boat along with lots of activities to keep the cousins entertained. With hot and sunny weather!
On our last evening together we headed down to Okanagan Lake to photograph the cousins together. Sweet captures of summer fun in the Okanagan! I was really hoping to update our family photo this summer but it didn’t work out for everyone to be there unfortunately. But I was able to gift my Momma her birthday gift early that she was able to enjoy for a little while. A plaque mount of all her beautiful grandkids! Sweet, happy summer memories!!

I’ll add in some landscape photos from our roadtrip west through the Rockies.

We stopped at Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park. Nature is beautiful and amazing!

We pre-booked for a day at Revelstoke Mountain Resort and had a great time on the mountain coaster, ropes course, taking in the scenic views from the gondola and hiking.

I went out and shot a roll of film one morning around Lake Country and Okanagan Lake. The light was so pretty and my eye was drawn to the lines in the vineyards.

Sunset along Okanagan Lake. It was hard to leave this beautiful area!!
