Moving Houses in Weyburn | Kohonick family

It’s a privilege to photograph this wonderful, happy family each year. They are very special clients to me!! I’ve had several years photographing them and they are just the best! We had chosen a location out of town for their annual family photos but a last minute change of plans was much more suited to their current situation. Their family was moving houses in Weyburn this past fall. A bittersweet time to capture with their time in one house coming to a close and a new beginning in another for their family! I’m so glad they took time on this nice, sunny morning to leave the to-do list and have a photo shoot. Including the newest pup to join their household. The pretty, fall-colored leaves didn’t last long afterwards so our timing worked great for a few reasons.

We started off at their old house. A beautiful home that holds so many memories for their family in the years they lived there. It’s such a cute, cozy house with a nice yard. Then we headed over to the new house. A lovely home they look forward to creating memories at in the coming years! That also has an amazing yard. As they were right in the middle of moving houses in Weyburn it worked out perfect to document the transition!! It was also particularly fitting in 2020 to capture family photos in their homes and yards. We’ve all been spending a lot of time at home with the pandemic! I’m excited for their family to be settled into the new place now and have these special keepsakes!!
