Up, up and away!! It’s fun to be one! Blu’s first year certainly flew by. We were together several times throughout the year and I was glad to fly out to Abbotsford to celebrate his first birthday. Which of course also included taking his one year photos! A bonus was missing out on a cold weather week at home and there were still plenty of pretty fall colors in the Vancouver area.
Blu’s a really happy baby and since he’d already been walking for a couple months, my sister’s idea of a hot air balloon for his one year photos worked perfect. We got heaps of cute smiles and fun expressions with him in the basket. Clapping, waving and entertaining anyone that walked by in the park. When he was not contained Blu was constantly on the move! A test to my manual focusing skills as I shot a couple rolls of film as well. Having just enjoyed time in Hawaii with this handsome baby boy, I miss his smiles and giggles! I really am lucky to be Auntie to so many adorable, wonderful kids!!
