On a hot summer afternoon I headed north to the Shultz farm. Being currently spread out as far as Oregon and Southeast Asia, it was 4 years since these siblings had the opportunity to be together. So it was special they were able to enjoy time together over a few weeks in the summer!! Including this beautiful evening that I had the privilege to photograph them! They are a wonderful group of people to be with and amaze me how great they look for their years!!
This was a very meaningful location. The farm where they were raised. As well as the farm where the youngest of these siblings lives with his wife and also raised their family. There was thoughtful consideration for backdrops that were reminiscent of their childhood days and using those areas of the yard with the prairie surroundings. I enjoyed hearing some stories from their growing up years and witnessing the laughter of such memories! It really was a golden evening with the canola fields in bloom and warm sunshine. Most of all because of the fantastic people in these photos!!

Beautiful people, beautiful setting! I understand the thrill of times like this when spread so far apart. Time does not erase the beauty of character seen in people. My old friends, thanks😊
Lovely pics and such a beautiful setting with beautiful people! Really special for me to see as Fillmore is where my Dad was born and this summer we laid him to rest in Kelvington. Last year Dale told me a lot of stories of the early Fillmore days with my relatives so I was pretty thrilled to find this post!! Loving all your blog posts and your beautiful captures!
